COVID-19 Studio Update

Studio Q would like to provide a safe work environment for all its clients and crews during these unusual times. Our COVID-19 preparedness safety plan is based on CDC and MHD guidance. Photographers, crews, and clients all need to take responsibility for implementing this plan.

FEWER PEOPLE ON SET WHEN POSSIBLE

  • Require all work to be done remotely that can be.

  • Keep crews to around 20 people

HEALTH

  • Masks will be required to be worn at all times (except when eating or drinking). Masks need to be covering the nose and mouth, face shields and neck gators are not allowed. Masks will be provided if necessary.

  • Anyone with a fever or any symptoms of COVID-19 is not permitted into the studio regardless of booking status.

  • Anyone who has had close contact with someone with COVID-19 is not permitted into the studio regardless of booking status.

  • All visitors must have their temperature checked upon arrival and documented by either photographer or producer. Studio Q will provide an infrared thermometer if requested.

  • Studio Q will run fans, open doors and windows when possible to provide additional airflow.

  • Studio Q reserves the right to determine on-site working eligibility for anyone entering the studio.

COVID TESTING

  • For all in-studio productions, we highly recommend covid testing for each person on set (clients and crew) regardless of vaccination status or lack of symptoms. This is especially important when one or more individuals will be unmasked while being featured in a photo or video or when crew/clients are traveling to the shoot from other locations.

  • Testing is quick, easy, and free. We recommend PCR tests over antigen tests. You can make an appointment or simply walk-in at locations all across the city. Find a local testing location here: https://mncovidtestingappt.as.me/schedule.php

SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • Crews and clients are encouraged to practice safe social distancing outside the studio in order to prevent potential COVID-19 exposure prior to entering Studio Q.

  • Limit of 25 people in Studio Q including Studio Q staff, crew, talent and client

  • Remote teams when possible (client, retouching)

  • Lunch seating will be spaced out or outside if possible

  • Maintain safe distance onset

  • On-camera talent or models may remove masks when on set while the crew is fully masked. Multiple talent or models can be unmasked on set only if they are more than 6ft apart, fully vaccinated or in the same covid-pod.

WORKER HYGIENE

  • Frequent hand washing for at least 20 seconds

  • Use hand sanitizer when you can’t use soap and water
